What is Slaughter?

Slaughtering is the moment of truth in Butcher. After you’ve let your animal’s APR grow through several epochs, you can choose to slaughter it, instantly collecting all the rewards it has generated. However, once you slaughter an animal, it’s gone forever. You’ll no longer earn any rewards from that animal, and you’ll need to buy a new one to continue playing.

How Does It Work?

• When you’re ready to cash in on the animal’s APR growth, you hit the Slaughter button.

• All the rewards your animal has earned up to that point will be immediately transferred to your wallet in $MEAT tokens.

• After slaughtering, the animal is removed from your farm, and no further rewards can be generated from it.
